Nosara Style: Decorating with Surfboards

I just came back from a trip to Nosara, Costa Rica

where I stayed at the relaxed and impeccably styled 

Nosara Surf Hotel. 

I'm not cool enough to drop off the grid and move full-time

to a surf town, but I do like the idea of infusing some

Nosara style into my life back home. I just happen to have 
an old painted surfboard, which I insisted I needed to be cool in
7th grade (along with a Coach bucket hat and a Bebe shirt)...
turns out I was right!
